This is a great way to break out of your cabin fever and see the latest products on the market. KTM and BMW appear to be no-shows though. Hmmmm…maybe next year? 1 day tickets are $15, but when you buy online you can opt to purchase a $15 bikebandit.com gift certificate and get a ticket free!
International Motorcycle Show starts Friday in Minneapolis
January 31, 2011Map hosting location changed
January 5, 2011All maps have now moved to be hosted at DualSportMaps.com. Links are still on the Maps page. This is an awesome site to use when planning your next adventure in Minnesota or anywhere else. The new location allows a greater level of detail to be described compared to Google Maps alone, or in plain GPX files. Create an account on the site to download the GPX files.
Stay warm this week!
Trout Valley and Snake Creek OHM Trail GPX files added.
January 2, 2011The Trans-Minnesota Adventure Trail goes right by 2 state OHM trails in the southern part of the state. The Maps page now has GPX files of those areas available for you to download. These two areas are small, but if you have never ridden them before the GPX files are nice for navigating.

Its often a good read and a great way to keep up on local events.
New TMAT Microfiber Longsleeve shirt in Zazzle store
December 27, 2010Treat yourself to some new gear for the new year. We have uploaded a new shirt design to our store. The microfiber shirt is great as a base layer on your next adventure. Beware the sizing instructions though. I am a 42″ chest and a medium fits just fine.
Motorcycle Escape Magazine
December 27, 2010Next time you are at Borders cruise over to the magazine section and pick up the winter issue of Motorcycle Escape magazine. I couldn’t find it anywhere else. It seems it is a limited run periodical, so don’t wait. From the Publisher:
“If you’ve been missing your favorite motorcycle travel mag, fret no more. We’re proud to announce the return of Motorcycle Escape, in limited release for 2010 and 2011.
Originally launched in 2004 as a touring magazine, Motorcycle Escape featured unique content that encouraged and enabled readers to follow through on their travel passion. We haven’t skimped on the package this time either—you’ll find the same high-end production values and bold, personable stories, tests and reviews, with a focus on unique, bike-worthy destinations and the people that ride there. Motorcycle Escape is about adventure—not just the ride.
Edited by Andrew Cherney, with help from fellow original Escapees Jamie Elvidge and Marc Cook, along with a veteran team of moto-journalists, photographers and art directors (take a bow, Darren Scott), the Winter issue of Escape is available on newsstands November 18th.
Check it out. We hope it’ll add some fuel to your traveling jones.”
