Ahh ya beat me to it. Been fiddling with this idea since I did the TWT a couple weeks ago.
If it helps, here’s a straight mostly gravel path I took from Minnetonka south through Iowa, over the top half of the Dragoon Trail, and into Ames.

I see the file as a .docx format? Mapsource, word, or openoffice can open it. I have modified the extension and am still unable to open it in mapsource. What did you use to create the file?
I tried downloading the GPX file. It’s coming in as a Word file.
The files has a docx extension because WordPress doesn’t allow files with a gpx extension. Just rename the file to have a gpx extension and it will import fine into your gps software. DON’T open the file in Word.
Maybe I need to find another hosting location for these files so this isn’t a problem….hmmmmm.
I changed the file to be hosted at Google. Now you don’t have to rename the file anymore. It has a GPX extension and should import easily into your GPS software.
