We closed down the IMS show in Minneapolis tonight. A good amount of new vendors and bikes made the trip worthwhile.
Here are some snapshots:
Tigers. Still my favorite bike of this show.
Twisted Throttle’s Honda NC700. Wow. Best looking version of this bike I have ever seen.
Suzukis
Nicely accessorized KLR. The tailbag expanded to a nice size.
Zero’s DS. New version this year. More HP and longer runtime, but the price is a shocker.
Husqvarnas in the BMW booth. Nice to see them here!
New BMW FS700 (do they really need this in addition to the 650 and 800?)
Important swag! The pins from Indian Motorcycles and Shorai were my favorite.
Hope you all get a chance to get out this weekend and enjoy the show for yourself!
The BMW F700GS this year has been then F650GS since ’08, they changed the name to clear up the confusion with the G650GS(single) that used to be the F650GS before ’08. Clear as mud 🙂
Ugh… Marketing.
I enjoyed the show, I wandered around with friends on Friday night; saw about 2/3 of the show stuff. Saturday worked the booth from 9 – 5:30 the show and our booth were really busy. Great to see all of the traffic and interest in the bikes.
On my short list: BMW single still like it, KLR in Green, Versys for my asphalt ridin’, Triumph Explorer, and Suzuki V Strom….
