A couple summers ago a buddy and I were on a motorcycle trip and happened to run into Lois & Austin in Utah. We were all sharing the same small bit of shade at an old gas station. Lois and Austin were their on a Ural. Lois was very sweet and funny. I’ve since read 2 of her books and have a new respect for her adventurous spirit.
